How to verify a Torzon Market mirror

A short, concrete method to confirm a mirror is the real one before you sign in. Two checks, in order. Neither takes more than a minute.

01The address check

A v3 onion address is 56 characters long before the .onion. People mis-copy in the middle, and that is where fakes live. Do not trust your eyes to compare 56 characters in one pass.

• Copy the whole address in one action. Never retype it.
• Paste it into the address bar.
• Compare the last six characters of the address bar against what you copied. That is the fastest place a one-character fake shows up.
• Spot-check the first ten characters too. A fake that changes an early character still has the correct ending, so the last-six check alone is not enough.

02The printed-onion check

The real Torzon login page prints the onion address it is being served from. That is a second, independent copy of the address, rendered by the page itself. Match it against the address bar as well. If the page prints an onion that does not match the address bar, the page and the address disagree, and you are not where you think you are.

03Red flags

• The address differs from the list on this site by even one character.
• The login asks for a wallet seed, a private key, or a fee to unlock the account.
• The layout, colours, or logo are off, even slightly.
• There is a countdown or a verify-now urgency that was not there before.
• The address bar shows a clearnet domain or an .onion.to / tor2web proxy instead of a plain .onion.
• A verified badge from a site you have never heard of.
