Each error means something different, and the fix follows from the meaning. Work down this list.

01"The onion site is not available"

Either that address is dead, rotated out, or your circuit is bad. Try the next address on the list. If the next one loads, the first was retired and there is nothing to fix. If several in a row do not load, your connection is the problem, not the market.

• Click the onion icon and start a new circuit, then retry.
• Or restart Tor Browser and try again.

02It hangs, or is very slow

First loads of an onion are slow. Thirty to ninety seconds is normal, longer happens. Do not reload in a loop; let one attempt finish. If it is always this slow on every site you visit, the circuit or the network is the cause.

• Wait out one full attempt before retrying.
• Try a new circuit.
• If it is a phone, keep the app in the foreground and check the battery saver.

03Some addresses work, others do not

That is normal. Mirrors come and go. Use the ones that resolve and ignore the ones that do not. The list on this page is the reference for which are current.

04Nothing works on any address

If every current address fails the same way, the problem is your Tor connection, not the market. That is a circuit issue or a censored network.

• Restart Tor Browser and start a new circuit.
• If you are in or on a network that blocks Tor, enable a bridge (obfs4) in the expert settings. See the blocked-network route.
• Test a different, well-known onion. If that also fails, it is definitely your connection.

05It loads, but it looks wrong

If the page is there but something is off, the connection is fine and the address is the suspect. Do not log in. Go to Verify and run the two checks.

06It worked yesterday and not today

Two likely causes. The address you saved was rotated out, in which case use a current one from this page. Or your network changed, a new router, a different wifi, a travel connection, in which case the circuit or a bridge is the fix.
